Healing The Financial Burden

Over the past couple of months, I have noticed many people complain that there is a lack of funds in their bank account. Complaining of not having enough money for sustaining their lifestyle or paying for basic needs such as food, gas, health care, childcare...etc. The list goes on. We have all overheard conversations on the bus, in coffee shops, on the street corner of how we need to cut back on spending. I realized that many of us equate financial success with self esteem. When we are working and earning an abundance of money, we feel good. Our mood is elevated and we have a more positive attitude towards ourselves, life and others. Our relationships are more harmonious. We feel more productive in our professional and personal lives. I have noticed an increase in people's stress levels around finances in my private health practice. As the financial burden increases, self esteem decreases leading to anger, depression and anxiety. Then pessimism sets in. It has a negative effect on all other areas of life. Relationships sour, tensions flare and motivation declines. So here are some useful tips that you can do to heal the financial burden and turn the ship around:

1. Be gentle with yourself.

Kindness is the key to keeping up a positive attitude and vibration.

2. Focus on what you do want.

By focusing on what is important to you and what you want to achieve financially, you will open the door for attracting it into your life.

3. Have clear financial goals.

Know where you want to be, know what your spending habits are and where there are opportunities to re-balance your financial flow.

4.Work with a financial planner.

Most banks are offering this service, take advantage of it. A financial planner can help you get back on track.

5. Practice the art of gratitude.

Being thankful for what you have now in your life, keeps you in a high vibration allows abundance to flow into your life. This allows you to regain trust in the endless possibilities that life has to offer. Write out a daily list for yourself and spend time reflecting on what you are grateful for.

6. Seek out healing from a BodyTalk Practitioner.

There is an area of the BodyTalk System that helps to shift limiting belief systems around money. Many of us inherit these beliefs from family and the culture we live in and from the influence of media. These beliefs can keep us stuck in a certain salary level in our jobs, limit us in the amount of work we attract if we are self employed and keep us blind to opportunities that can grow our money tree. Here is a case study from my personal files:

CASE STUDY: Janet Massage Therapist

Janet was a part time massage therapist who had to take on another part time job in order to pay the bills. The massage clinic she worked in only offered her 1 day a week, not enough hours for her. She had a hard time building up clientele since she was the newest practitioner to join the team. She was frustrated that she was not able to do massage full time. That is when she came into my BodyTalk Clinic. She wanted to work on attracting more money into her life through her massage practice as well as building a solid community of practitioners in the workplace. In the session we worked on shifting a belief she had that inherited from her father that life is about suffering and that people with money are unhappy. So, this meant the more money she made, the more miserable she would become! So, we released these beliefs. Also we used techniques to elevate self esteem and release fears about taking on a leadership role in her profession. We worked on building a business/work matrix that would help to attract and establish her as a successful therapist. Three weeks after the session, she told me that she quit her part time job and found a new massage clinic where she was working 4 days a week. She had left the old clinic as well. Her client base was expanding, she was working full days and making more money. Her stress levels decreased and her depression lifted. She was feeling alot more joy flow into her life and even made new friends with the other therapists she worked with! Just remember that money is another form of energy and we can work with that in healing sessions to attract your financial goals.
