Moo's Healing Journey

This is Moo. She is a tabby/tourtise shell mix. She was diaganosed with mammary cancer in March 2005. I first noticed a small lump about the size of a pearl. It was perfectfully round and quite hard to the touch. I took her into the vet, and they decided to remove the lump. When the lab results came back, sure enough, the tumor was cancerous. The vet told me that "there would be no course of action" an that Moo should just live out her days. Well, that was not sitting very well with me, so I decided to seek other forms of treatment. Moo underwent BodyTalk treatments and the results were excellent! In her first session, there was the emotion anger that was prevalent over her new living environment (we moved the year prevoius). Also there were links to her kidneys, lympahtic drainage of toxins and she was severly dehydrated. Her nervous system was also balanced and her overall stress response. In addition, all the cortices of her brain were realigned and balanced to function in better harmony. After the session, Moo's personality changed. She seemed more relaxed, more lovable and less of a "scaredy cat". She also started to drink more water than she ever did before. I still have sessions done for her and I will keep you posted on her progress.

What are Chakras?

There are 7 main chakras of the body. They are considered "energy vortices" that resemble a spinning wheel. Each chakra vibrates at a different frequency and therefore relates to a different color. The energy from the chakras is channeled to various organs or glands that correspond to each chakra.

Root Chakra: vibrates to the color red, relates to survival, materiality, the earth element.

Sacral Chakra: vibrates to the color orange, relates to sexuality/sensuality, creativity, the water element.

Solar Plexus Chakra: vibrates to the color yellow, relates to digestion, personal power, element of fire.

Heart Chakra: vibrates to the color green, relates to harmony, self love.

Throat Chakra: vibrates to the color blue, relates to communication, self expression, speaking the truth.

Third Eye Chakra: vibrates to the color purple, relates to creativity, inspiration, intuition.

Crown Chakra: vibrates to the color violet, relates to spirituality.

The chakras can become imbalanced and can impact health in the physical body as well as emotionally, psychologically & spiritually. For instance, an imbalanced root chakra can lead to poor finacial issues and poor attitudes surrounding fincances & money, as well as, a person may develop kidney problems since the root chakra governs the kidneys. The role of the BodyTalk practitioner is to rebalance the chakras and restore harmony.

Why Drink Water?

Water is the essence of life. In energy medicine water is needed for:

conducting energy of the meridians
helps to synthesize processing of emotions
regulates sugar metabolism
detoxifies the body
enhances immunity

Our brain is made up of about 80% water. If we are dehydrated, then it impedes cognition. We get headaches, it is hard to concentrate, we suffer poor nutrition, cellular degeneration, fatigue, and poor coordination of the body. We should have about 6-8 eight oz glasses of water per day. It is better to sip water slowly, rather than consuming large amounts at once. Otherwise, our body will fail to absorb water completley. If you suffer from any of these symptoms, then you may wish to have a BodyTalk session. The BodyTalk System addresses the imbalance of dehyration and may help the body to be hydrated more effectively.
